Registration is now open for the 2017 Mid-Atlantic Water Resources Conference. The event takes place October 12-13, 2017 at the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
The theme for the conference is “Water Research: Building Knowledge and Innovative Solutions”. The conference, co-hosted by the West Virginia Water Research Institute, will bring together researchers, policy makers, regulators, state and federal agencies, private organizations and the public to share in the latest information, technologies and research relating to the Mid-Atlantic region’s water resources.
Researchers from colleges and universities, state and federal agencies, private organizations, consulting firms, industry and students are invited to submit abstracts for consideration for oral and poster presentation. The Conference Planning Committee is accepting abstracts through March 27, 2017. Author’s whose abstracts are accepted are required to register at a reduced rate.
The event is hosted by the West Virginia Water Research Institute at West Virginia University, West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, University of Delaware Water Resources Center, New York State Water Resources Institute at Cornell University, Pennsylvania Water Resources Research Center at Pennsylvania State University, and the Virginia Water Resources Research Center at Virginia Tech.
